Watauga River

The Watauga River is great for all ages and perfect for families with children as young as 3 years of age. This section of river is dam controlled guaranteeing us lots of cool mountain water. There are numerous class 2 rapids with one class 3 rapid depending on the release.  Your actual river time is about 2 1/2 hrs and includes river side snack.  
This trip meets at our Loafers Glory outpost at 12:00 and takes about 1 hour to the put-in. Folks love the late check in time because this gives your group ample time to do other local attractions or just lay back and enjoy your vacation. Watauga River does not run on Sundays.

French Broad River

This beautiful section of river is located in Western North Carolina. If your family or group is visiting the Little Switzerland, Spruce Pine, Bakersville, Burnsville or Asheville NC areas this is the adventure with all the right stuff. We start the day learning how to maneuver and paddle through numerous class 2 and 3 rapids as we play our way to a delicious river side snack. Trip time on the water 3 hours(min age is 8)

Toe River

The Toe River has a lot to offer. Safe for the youngest of kids in our guided rafts and great fun in our one man rafts. We offer this trip with riverside snack. Our meals are vegetarian friendly and healthy. All trips give a river safety instructional prior to the trip. Loafers Glory Rafting also includes an on river rapid clinic. This clinic will teach safety & skills for all ages. Trip time on the water 3 hours(min age is 4)

Toe River Express

Geared for older kids and adults.You venture out in your very own funyak. Your guide will show you the best routes for you to safely navigate through numerous rapids. Trip time on the water is 2 hours (min age 12) This trip is in our one man boats only.
