Toe River Tubing
Take an exciting river tube trip down the scenic Toe River and play the day away. All tube trips include your tube, personal floatation device(on request), shuttle service and a relaxing float through the scenic Toe River Valley of Mitchell County, North Carolina. Toe River Tubing- How it works- Please take the time.
Choose a time to make your reservation. Trips leave at the top of the hour. If you choose a 1pm trip time you would have to be here at 12:30 to check-in. If you show up at 1pm you will be moved to the next available time, provided we have space.
Lock all valuables in your car. Put your keys in our drop box (keys do not float). Leave your towels and anything you do not want to get wet in your vehicle. Wet tubers will be in the van after you.
Van leaves 10 minutes till the hour. Be ready to go! Shuttle driver will show you the take out and places to hang out and play on the river.
Relax and enjoy your float on the river. The float time on the water varies depending on river levels. Expect to be on the water anywhere from 1 ½ hrs to 2 hrs, that is straight float time. Note: When we say " The Water is Low" we mean it. Some trips at this level take a solid 3+ hrs with some walking and dragging.
Arrive at the take out where you will be picked up and brought back to your car. Average wait time for shuttle to return is 15 min. Hang out in the water and enjoy.
Tubing hours: Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm Sunday 11am-3pm
